In a press conference held in Mogadishu Saturday,somali MPs threatened to oust president hassan sheik mohamud in a resolute bid to restore accountability to the highest office,caasimada online news website reported.
Federal MP Abdisamad moalim mohamud told journalists that the urgency of the situation in the country and mounting evidence of misconduct necessitate swift and decisive action.
A number of other MPs accused parliament leadership of colluding with villa Somalia and undermining the cherished checks and balances system designed to safeguard good governance,eroding the separation of powers and emboldening authoritarian tendencies.
